The project is a delta wing aircraft of 50*50 sq.cm. dimensions. The challenge of the project was to make a small aircraft and also make it light enough which has sufficient strength to sustain the aerodynamic forces while flying.
A delta wing generates more lift in comparison to a normal wing and the stalling angle increases. So this plane can fly at a higher angle of attack.
