The eruption of low intensity conflicts and terrorism waves at the beginning of the 21st century caused further development in the techniques and methods of Bomb Disposal. Since explosives pose great risk to the public and especially to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Operator, trying to render them safe. Therefore, new methods like greater reliance on remote techniques, such as advanced remotely operated vehicles (EOD robots) evolved.
This model is microcontroller based semi automatic legged robot. It can diffuse live bomb with the help of an automated arm. It can be guided by a base station. The robot is equipped with a unique walking mechanism which make it different from other wheeled robots thus making it quite capable of reaching tuff locations.
